BIKE RACE RESULTS
The Anniemaniacs would like to thank everyone for coming out to
support us. The bike race fundraiser was a huge success for us and the
participants. Congratulations to the first place winners, Team
Scharffenberg (on a tandem bike), second place to WeWease the Secwet
Weapon, and third place to Team "Sixteen".

year we made 3rd in the
Competitive C division and this year we made 5th in Competitive B!
We
also made it into the Guts & Glory race at the end of the day,
something we've been dreaming of since the Anniemaniacs were founded 57
years ago. We're now one of the top 3 Portland teams in Alcan! |

and Sunday, June 6-7, from 8 AM to 4 PM on the south
end of Tom McCall Waterfront Park.
Come
watch us paddle hard and then enjoy the festivities on the waterfront.

2 years straight undefeated at Tacoma!
Unfortunately,
race organization wasn't so hot and we ended up waiting around in the
sun for many hours, redoing a race, and enduring molten gummy worms
(poor organization ruins everything). And thus we were
knocked
out of the finals, but not without being told otherwise at least a
hundred times.
We still
won all our heats! Our prize was being allowed to go home.
